"Long-time Wayne Township Paramedic/EMS Chief, United States Navy Veteran, and resident of the Village of Waynesfield, Mark Miller, unexpectedly passed away yesterday while in the line of duty. Mark, a dear friend of the police department and many, many others, will be tremendously missed. His over 30 years of selflessly serving multiple communities and his country simply cannot be replaced. Mark may no longer be with us on Earth, but his legacy will never be forgotten. The Waynesfield Police Department asks for your thoughts and prayers to Mark's family, family of first responders, and all who are affected by this loss during this difficult time. Pursuant to an order issued by Mayor Rodney Luma, all federal, state and local flags on Village of Waynesfield grounds will be lowered to half staff until the conclusion of Mark's funeral service, which is yet to be determined." -Chief Nathan W. Motter
